Chantier Davie Canada

Shipyard Production Support and Design

Chantier Davie Canada

3GA Marine Ltd. provided shipyard production support design at Chantier Davie Canada Shipyard throughout this new ship build.

Chantier Davie Canada Shipyard received production support and design from 3GA Marine Ltd. The cutting-edge ‘Multiperi Pride’ was built at Davie for export to Norwegian Oilfield Services company, Cecon and was later sold to Multiperi. At 130 meters long, the Multiperi Pride has been built to conform to the high standards required for deepwater operations in harsh environments. Using diesel-electric power generation which feeds six electric thrusters, the vessel also uses a special technology called dynamic positioning to ensure it holds position while performing functions such as subsea construction, pipelaying, diving, well intervention and ROV support.

Davie’s 717th ship is a DPIII Subsea Construction Vessel – launched in October 2013. The vessel is the first of a three-ship series being built at Canada’s No.1 shipbuilder for export to Norwegian clients.
